Who We Are
Catherine Allison
founder & Director
Catherine Allison is one of the Director’s of flos collective CIC. She co-founded flos in 2022 with Esme Stewart as a way to create more space for women and non-binary artists in Glasgow’s creative scene. Catherine has a passion for curating events in a variety of contexts, be that club nights, workshops, or exhibitions. When producing events she aims to create environments that offer audiences a space to connect with one another, and encourage community growth.
As well as her work with flos, Catherine is a facilitator, performer and producer. She is a graduate of Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has worked with organisations such as: Imaginate, 21 Common, LayLow Glasgow and The Beacon Arts Centre. Catherine’s performance work is almost always collaborative, comedic and often uses the autobiography as a starting point. She is currently interested in familial relationships, particularly those between women, and how these relationships may change over time.
Catherine is passionate about the Glasgow art scene and is always excited to hear about new projects, meet new people and collaborate to make exciting things happen.

Pippa Blundell
Director, producer
Pippa Blundell is a singer-songwriter, musician, and community music practitioner based in Glasgow. She studied as a Mezzo-Soprano at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, initially aspiring to be an Opera singer but she took a keen interest in inclusive education, community music making, song writing and composition during her time there. She released her debut EP ‘sisters’ in September 2023, an exploration and interrogation of the women in her life and the intricacies of being a ‘young women’. In April 2024 she released ‘That’s Fine’ a single focussing on her home city of Glasgow, struggle and the power of community. She was nominated as one of the five finalists for the Sound of Young Scotland Award by Scottish Album of the Year (SAYA) in 2023 and listed as an exciting upcoming act in 2024 by The List magazine. Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway named her as a Top 25 Artist to watch in 2024. Pippa has toured and supported various acts such as Corto Alto, Rachel Sermanni and Constant Follower and performs as a vocalist in the Glasgow African Balafon Orchestra (GABO). Along side her performance she works as a community music practitioner, involved with various community groups but predominantly with ‘Hear My Music’, a charity enabling those with autism and/or complex needs to express themselves through participant led music making. Pippa has a deep fascination with the human voice and through her facilitation practice has discovered music to be a tool for communication and expression when words are not always an option. Ultimately she believes music has the power to drive change in the world and for us all to develop a better understanding of ourselves and of others. Spread joy and give a voice to everyone.
