Sidney Packard is a transgender musician from London that makes alternative pop music that is often conceptual. Whether it's inspired by Nightmares Sidney had or inspired by the Goddess Aphrodite, Biblical figure Lilith or even their recent release inspired by Freddy Krueger.
what does still here mean to you?
"Still Here" means to me being myself in spite of so many people wanting me to live inauthentically and to shame me into living in a way that is not honouring my true self. They want the queer part of me to be hidden and to be shamed out of existence but I will not let that happen, I will not disrespect myself like they want me to. I will make art in rebellion of their wishes because I love my queerness because I love me.
