Roxie Brooke
she/they

Roxie is the Bristol-based printmaker and mixed media artist behind Gay Propaganda, an ongoing series of bold, queer-focused lino prints. Working in limited A3 editions, the project draws on punk aesthetics, protest graphics, and underground queer culture to create confrontational, unapologetic imagery. Each piece centres queer and trans experiences, responding directly to political hostility and social erasure with defiance and visibility. Gay Propaganda is both a body of work and a statement, art that refuses to be quiet, reclaiming public and private space through striking, hand-printed visuals that provoke conversation, challenge norms, and celebrate queer resistance.
what does still here mean to you?
Still here is the dry reminder to heteronormative public that we refuse to go anywhere.
