Clancey
they/them

Clancey is a London based multidisciplinary artist whose tactile, conceptual work explores duality, human fragility, and how we each perceive the world. Grounded in a love for creative autonomy and inclusive spaces, Clancey transforms fleeting moments captured through street and abstract photography into physical sculptures using kiln-cast glass, fused glass, and metalwork. Their interactive pieces play with visual illusions and hidden messages, inviting viewers to slow down and connect. Passionate about community over commercialism, Clancey creates thought provoking, multi-sensory experiences designed to be accessible, authentic, and deeply human, bridging the gap between material and shared emotion.
what does still here mean to you?
For me, "Still Here" is a declaration of survival. After being disowned by my family for being Queer and autistic, I had to walk away from everything, including my home, becoming homeless, just to survive. Art found me later in life, offering a lifeline for my mental wellness and a profound visual language to express what words sometimes cannot. Today, my multidisciplinary practice is how I claim my space, honour my resilience, and live completely and authentically as myself. I am still here, living life and creating on my own terms.
