April Stewart
she/her

April Stewart is an artist whose work explores the intersection of neurodivergence and the feminine experience. Her artistic practice utilises photography, film and sculpture to capture nuances with queerness and sapphic identity. By working with and documenting natural landscapes, flowers, and fungi, she imbues non-human subjects with a distinct emotional depth. These diverse themes are woven together to offer a deeply personal perspective on the relationship between humanity and the organic world. Through her photographic practice, she allows her audience to see these experiences as organic and intrinsic parts of the world. She is interested in blurring and merging the lines between human and non-human entities within her work.
